Web 2.0 Designer
We are currently seeking a Web 2.0 Designer to join our development team for several challenging web design projects. We offer a great opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated person with great grasp of Web 2.0 technologies and an eye for user interface design. You will be responsible for visual design, content and management of our corporate website.
Key responsibilities:
* Cross browser ready front-end HTML/CSS development to be handed over to Javascript/backend developers
* Produce commercial grade art assets from abstract concepts
* Create web designs for all web products and services
* Create mockups of design ideas
* Assist development team to ensure design visions are fully realized in finished product.
Required knowledge, skills, and attributes:
* At least One (1) year prior programming experience using the latest Web 2.0 technologies (including dynamic database driven sites)
* Proficiency with tableless layout and other Web 2.0 design principles
* Good experience in HTML, CSS and cross browser issues
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, project details and tight deadlines
Preferred Requirements:
* Have experience with Adobe Flash
* Have some experience with Javascript and libraries e.g. Prototype, Dojo, JQuery...
* Love to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and design trends
* Highly communicative and able to interact with customers
