iPhone 2.0 app reviews
With 1 million sales over the weekend and 10 million programs downloaded from the iTunes App Store, the Apple iPhone is obviously a mobile platform that Mac, Windows, Linux, and maybe even BeOS users are supporting with their dollars and downloads.
The iTunes App Store launched early Thursday morning last week with about 570 applications, of which about 160 are free. iPhone and iPod Touch users who have upgraded their firmware to iPhone OS 2.0 can now listen to Pandora Radio or AOL Radio, access their eBay accounts, get local Yelp results, manage their Facebook page, play Texas Hold 'Em, or even transform their iPhone into a lightsaber.
The Download.com and CNET editors have been working overtime since last Thursday to review the most popular free and paid apps for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Learn which apps they like best and which programs don't quite measure up yet.
