For our client, agency for technically sophisticated software solutions who is operating in Düsseldorf, Germany, we are searching for highly motivated candidates for the following position:
BACKEND DEVELOPER (DRUPAL)
Tasks:
Develop (architectural) concepts of modern web applications utilizing your Drupal 8 and PHP/Symfony skills
Backend-wise you will get to crack the real tough nuts – and also coordinate the subsequent implementation of your solutions
Existing sites require your maintenance and expansion endeavours
As do the diverse Drupal modules and backend systems – if needed, you will write those from scratch
Estimate and analyse the requirements and present the results in meetings providing vivid demos
Three aspects characterize your code: cleanness, testability and maintainability
Utilize the common professional tools and methods
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or vocational education
Software development via Drupal 8 is your passion and you have 2+ years of relevant experience
In terms of the common tools, techs and workflows you should be quite knowledgeable
PHP5 web development via Symfony2 is no novelty for you
Proficient in MySQL and the Linux-Shell
Communication is your prime discipline and you greatly advocate team spirit
Appreciate meetups, presentations and open source projects
Nice to have experience with Symfony and cloud-based hosting solutions à la Acquia as well as Solr really boost your application
Being an active contributor for the Drupal community gives you a real edge
Proficiency in English, ready to learn German
